This year, we’re offering a single application for all events, so you can apply for any or all of our exciting festivities in one place!

Valhalla Blooms
A Viking Spring Faire
4/12, 4/13
Step into the world of the Vikings with Valhalla Blooms! This new event will highlight Norse mythology, Viking reenactments, combat demonstrations, and traditional crafts. Visitors will learn about Viking history, the gods, and the sagas that shaped their culture. Vendors can offer Viking-inspired crafts, leather goods, jewelry, food, and more. Guests will enjoy axe throwing, spear throwing, archery, and even Viking shield wall formations, creating a truly interactive and immersive experience.

Celebrate two decades of the faire in 2025! This year’s event will focus on Queen Elizabeth’s royal progress and the festivities surrounding her visit to our village. Expect a combination of historical reenactments, artisans, street performances, live music, and unique food offerings. It will be a joyous celebration of the Renaissance, honoring our 20th season of bringing history to life. With our immersive setting, we invite vendors to engage with patrons through period-appropriate goods, crafts, and performances.

A Night Beyond the Veil

Join us for a mystical evening at The Fae Masquerade Ball. This magical event will be a night of dancing, music, and enchantment, where guests can immerse themselves in the world of fae, magic, and mystery. Vendors can provide elegant costumes, masks, fantasy-inspired jewelry, and decor. It’s an evening for all ages to enjoy the beauty of the fae realm and experience the fantasy world through interactive performances and magical ambiance.

This fantastical event celebrates the world of goblins, fae, and magical creatures! Set in an enchanted forest, visitors will encounter immersive storytelling, whimsical performances, and vibrant characters. Guests can choose sides, participate in quests, and enjoy a magical feast. Vendors can sell themed food, magical trinkets, fantasy armor, accessories, and more. It’s a fun-filled event that blends fantasy with the enchanting fall season.

Journey through the dark woods on our haunted trails, where you’ll encounter legends from different cultures. This spine-chilling event brings myths and folklore to life with haunted houses, eerie performances, and fantastical creatures lurking in the woods. It’s the perfect event for those seeking thrills and frights, and vendors can offer spooky goods, themed food, and ghostly trinkets to add to the chilling atmosphere.

12 Tasks of Yule

Celebrate the warmth of the holiday season with White Hart Christmas, set in Tudor England. This event will offer a festive mix of medieval music, dancing, caroling, and historic holiday traditions. Vendors can sell holiday treats, crafts, and hand-made goods that reflect the charm and elegance of a Tudor Christmas. Expect a grand feast, historical games, and a magical atmosphere perfect for families and patrons of all ages.

Who Can Apply?
Opportunities
We welcome all types of performers to showcase their talents at the White Hart Renaissance Faire. As an entertainer, you'll have the opportunity to transport our guests back in time to the 16th century and create a memorable experience for all.
We're looking for acts that can bring the Renaissance era to life, including but not limited to:

Musicians (Bards, instrumentalists, singers, etc.)

Dancers (Historical, traditional, or themed performances)

Actors/Storytellers (For reenactments, interactive performances, or themed story-telling)

Circus Performers (Aerialists, jugglers, acrobats, and more!)

Fire Performers (If applicable, must have proper certifications)

Specialty Acts (Clowns, magicians, unique talents, etc.)

Medieval & Fantasy Performers (Swordfighters, jousters, historical reenactors, etc.)

If you have a unique act that you believe would fit well with our Renaissance Faire, we'd love to hear from you. Our team will review your application and determine whether it's a good fit for our event.
Please note that due to space limitations, we can only accept a limited number of performers each year. We encourage you to apply early to increase your chances of being selected.
As an outside contractor, we require all entertainers to have their own liability insurance and to adhere to our safety guidelines. We'll provide you with a copy of our rules and regulations upon acceptance of your application.

Entertainment Expectations
Costume and Conduct:

Period Accuracy: Performers must dress in period-appropriate costumes (1550-1600s) to maintain the Renaissance theme. Costumes should be family-friendly and suitable for all audiences.

Respectful Behavior: Performers must act professionally, show respect for other performers, patrons, and staff, and ensure their content is family-friendly. Harassment, disruptive behavior, or offensive content will not be tolerated.
Safety Requirements:

Safety Meeting: All performers must attend the mandatory safety meeting on the day of the event to familiarize themselves with safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Fire Performers: Fire performers must have valid certifications and provide their own fire safety equipment. Performances must be approved by event management.

Weapons Policy: All weapons must be peace-bound and approved by staff before entering. Weapons should be used responsibly, and any disorderly conduct will result in immediate expulsion.
Performance Scheduling and Conduct:

Performance Time: Performers should be at their performance location 15 minutes before their performance to ensure setup is complete. Any schedule changes should be communicated to event management promptly.

Punctuality: Performers must stick to their allotted time. Delays can disrupt the event, so if there are any issues, notify event management immediately.

Schedule Flexibility: While we aim to keep the schedule on track, performance times may change due to weather or other factors. Performers should be prepared for potential adjustments.
Equipment and Setup:

Performance Area: Performers must use designated areas for their performances. All technical equipment (sound, lights, props) must be cleared with event management in advance.

Props Handling: All props must be safe and stored securely when not in use. Weapons, sharp objects, and fire implements should be handled with care and in accordance with safety guidelines.
Alcohol, Substances, and Smoking:

Alcohol: Performers are not allowed to consume alcohol before or during performances. If involved in alcohol-themed performances (such as tavern scenes), prior approval must be given.

Controlled Substances: The use of controlled substances is strictly prohibited. Anyone found with illegal substances will be removed immediately.

Smoking/Vaping: Smoking or vaping is not allowed in public areas, including performance spaces and booths, during event hours. Designated backstage smoking areas will be provided.
Compensation:

Liability: Performers agree to hold harmless White Hart Renaissance Faire and its sponsors from any claims or damages that arise during the event. Performers are responsible for their own safety and that of their equipment.

Cleanliness: Performers must keep their performance areas clean and free from debris. This includes disposing of waste appropriately and maintaining a tidy environment.

Photography/Filming: Performers grant permission for White Hart Renaissance Faire to photograph or film their performances for promotional or historical purposes.
